BACK from A to Z.
Today we are going to talk about BACK as the first muscle group on a top list since you all already know that BACK determines our further path. It refers to the world of sport and health. That fact how your back is developed depends the development of the rest muscle groups and your health.
And now let’s sort it out why it’s like this but not in the other way! Many experienced athletes can debate about the sequence of muscle groups with me and they will put LEGS on the first place instead of BACK and they will be partly right. LEGS and BACK share the first level of “The Pedestal of Importance” but my personal experience and the experience of my students shows that BACK “leaves behind” LEGS as without strong BACK so hard to do squats and also building back muscles gives you a big opportunity to develop another muscles of your body. Not so many people know that if you just start working out (first years) and you will train only your back, doing many lifts and pull-ups, your biceps will grow and in reality it is so. The beginners do it vice versa: train their biceps until someone is out from this world, and of course they don’t get any result! At the end they don’t have neither big nor strong BACK nor biceps as it doesn’t work out in another way. All those who read my articles “Stages” (where I tell in details how to start working out from nothing and make it to intermediate level) and experienced it, understand that BACK, namely lifts, pull-ups and dips are the essentials. Taking the first steps, we don’t focus on squats purposefully since we’re working out on technique and handing the palm of supremacy to development of powerful back, doing lifts and pull-ups.
Remember one relatively unknown fact: there is nothing better (at least at the first stages of working out) for biceps than PULL-UPS. More over then that pull-ups not only make your lats (broadestmuscle of back) wider but increase the power and muscle bulk of your biceps; there is more to come-the sooner you start to do pull-ups the better as your shoulder girdle will be wider and your delts (deltoid muscles) will get good potential to grow and etc.
